Ashish Das - Instructor

Ashish Das is a prodigious artist and a trained practitioner of Pattachitra. He extensively experiments to add contemporary flavor to Pattachitra in order to meet the modern tastes yet keeping the traditional essence intact.  He was the first to pay tribute to the covid warriors by way of traditional visual arts and his painting was used by BBC in their news article. He is a state awardee and the only folk artist whose painting is in the prestigious Rashtrapati Bhawan (residence of the President of India). He has many large scale murals to his credit including a massive 15000sqft wall mural project in Bangalore.
