Shanmughapriya is a Chennai-based traditional artist with over 18 years of experience in Indian heritage art forms. Trained under renowned masters K. Thirugnanam and Balaji Srinivasan, she specializes in Chitrakathi, Pattachitra, Pichwai, and other traditional painting styles. Passionate about preserving endangered art forms, her work combines deep research, storytelling, and cultural authenticity while making traditional arts accessible to contemporary audiences through workshops, exhibitions, and educational programs.
